Obituary of Grover Seigler

Graveside service for Grover Wilson Seigler, 93, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, officiated by Reverend Steven Brown. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of one?s choice. Mr. Seigler passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012. Born in Irmo, SC, he was a son of the late William Frank Seigler and Hattie Richardson Seigler. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Seigler was the longtime and revered maintenance supervisor with Central Chevrolet for many years. Surviving is his son, Grover W. Seigler (Ann) of Irmo; grandchildren, Tracie Seigler of Irmo, Vicki Brown (Chris) of Irmo; great grandchildren, Caitlin, Madison and Raygan Brown. Mr. Seigler was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Seigler; sisters, Pearl Weed, Ethel Brown, Nina Derrick and Dessie Shealy; and brothers, Harless Seigler and Roland Seigler. The family would like to thank Lexington Medical Care Extended Care, Palmetto Lane, for their loving care and kindness extended Mr. Seigler and family.
