Obituary of Beverly Widany

Orlando, FL—Funeral services for Beverly Anne Widany, 58, of Orlando, FL, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 1:30-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Widany, widow of the late Kenneth Widany, died peacefully on December 10, 2012. She was born in Braddock, PA and was the daughter of Dorothy Sadlowski Lucas and the late Thomas Francis Lucas. She was a member of Pine Castle United Methodist Church in Orlando, FL and retired as a Legal Assistant from McEwan, Martinez & Dukes, PA. She enjoyed thrift shopping and gardening. Surviving in addition to her mother, Dorothy Lucas of Liberty Borough, PA; sisters, Linda Knefely (James) of South Bend, IN, Phyllis King (Charles) of West Columbia and Hope Pennington (James Kevin) of Allegheny County, PA; brothers, Daniel Lucas (Kris) of South Bend, IN, Clint Lucas (Barbara) of Clermont, FL, Keith Lucas, Howard Lucas and Ronald Lucas all of Liberty Borough, PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Thomas Lucas.
