Obituary of Joseph Turner

Joseph Allard Turner, 75, passed away on December 12, 2012 at Lexington Medical Center. He was born September 26, 1937 in Conway, SC. He was the son of the late Lacy Turner and Estelle (Lawson) Turner. Mr. Turner is survived by two daughters, Connie Sturgeon of Elgin and Teresa (Primo) Balleza of Leesville; two grandchildren, Brendan Sturgeon and Gabriela Balleza; brothers, Jimmy (Frances) Turner, Billy Wayne Turner; sisters, Beulah (Billy) Dorman, Linda (Phil) Simmons, Doris (George) Woodberry, Faye Rabon and Karen (Joey) Skipper; aunt, Myrtle George. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Smith and a brother-in-law, Leonard Rabon. A visitation for Mr. Turner will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 1-2 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Marc Sanders.
