Obituary of Carl Rader

Funeral service for Carl Rader, 65, of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home to handle the arrangements. Mr. Rader, beloved husband of Sandra Sharp Rader, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012. Born in New Brighton, PA, he was the son of the late Lavern Rader and Virginia Householder Rader. Mr. Rader was a Veteran and a retired civil service employee at Ft. Jackson. Surviving in addition to his loving bride of 29 years, Sandra Rader of Columbia; his special companion, Sissy; son, Chad Lee Rader of TX; brothers, Clair Rader (Lois) of PA and Kenneth Rader (Kathy) of PA.
