Obituary of Hattie Hatchell

COLUMBIA—Funeral service for Hattie Hatchell, 70 of Columbia, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Teddy Schumpert. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Mrs. Hattie passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Wilford M. Shealy and Fannie Schumpert Shealy. Surviving are her daughter, Patches Hatchell; sons, Evander, Fred and Joseph Hatchell; two sisters, four brothers, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
