Obituary of William Wild

WEST COLUMIBA: Funeral service for William Willard "Will" Wild, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, officiated by Pastor Michael Watson. Interment will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Harvest Hope Food Bank, 2220 Shop Road, Columbia, SC 29201. Mr. Wild passed away Monday, December 31, 2012. Born in Clinton, SC, he was a son of the late Dr. Willard Wild and Christine Daniels Wild. He was a systems programmer with the SC Department of Education. Mr.Wild attended Presbyterian College, Florida State and Florence Darlington Technical College. Mr. Wild is survived by his loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Dorothy Wild Marchant and Eleanor Wild Olesen.
