Obituary of Joyce Lynn

COLUMBIA—Funeral service for Joyce Lynn Ard, 57, of Columbia, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Lynch. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ard, beloved wife of Brian Ard, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Born in Lexington, SC, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Margo Loy Jeffcoat. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband, Brian Ard of Columbia; daughter, Amanda Simms of Phoenix, AZ; son, Wayne Hall (Amanda) of Lexington; grandchildren, Michael, Haley, Brandon and Nathan; sister, Marie Roof of Lexington; brothers, Eddie Jeffcoat of Lexington, Bobby Bohem and Gary Bohem both of Clearwater, FL.
