Obituary of Diane Douglas

CAYCE: A memorial service for Diane Stone Douglas, 49, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, at Cayce United Methodist Church, officiated by Reverend Joseph James. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family. Mrs. Douglas passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was born in Columbia, SC, and was a member of Cayce United Methodist Church. Mrs. Douglas was a former employee of Time Warner Cable. Surviving is her father and step-mother, Leonard F. Rice (Alice) of Orangeburg; her mother and step-father, Reverend Kathryn Scarborough (Robert) of North; her husband, Devin Wesley Douglas of Cayce and step-daughter, Monique Douglas of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Brian F. Rice of Cocoa, FL; Grandmother, Neila R. Whitlock of West Columbia; and niece, Michaela Rice of Cocoa, FL; and Grandfather, Billy Mixon of Bamberg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Cayce UMC, 1600 Twelfth Street, Cayce, SC 29033 or the charity of your choice.
