Obituary of F. Faulk

PELION: Graveside service for Mr. Lynn F. Faulk, 54, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, in Woodridge Memorial Park, officiated by Reverend Terry Wilder. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. In lieu of flowers donations may be to the SC Cancer Society, Palmetto Health Richland Foundation, 9 Medical Park, Ste 600, Columbia, SC 29203. Mr. Faulk passed away Monday, January 28, 2013. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Roy Edward Faulk, Jr., and Mary Frances Kennerly Faulk. Mr. Faulk was retired from Lance, Inc. Lynn loved his wife very much and wanted her to know how much he appreciated the love and care she provided him over the past year. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up and will miss teaching them the basics of life that he learned from his grandfather, growing up in the country. He had a love for farming and one of his greatest pleasures was sitting on the porch watching his cows. He will be greatly missed by his family and close friends. Survivors include: wife, Connie Mae Cole Faulk; daughters, Tara Marie King (Tim), Heather Renee Faulk all of Columbia and Cathy Nates (Phil) of Swansea; son, Neal Wilbanks of Columbia; sister, Estelle Davis of Batesburg-Leesville; brothers, Edward Faulk and Terry Faulk of Columbia; three grandchildren; and special friend, Randall Baker of Gaston.
