Obituary of Vickie Millwood

Vickie Millwood Columbia Tuesday, January 29, 2013, Heaven gained an Angel. Vickie Lynn (Strickland) Millwood, 32, of Columbia, passed away at Palmetto Health Baptist. Born Friday, March 7, 1980, Vickie was the daughter of Duane Nick Strickland and Darlene Mae (Wigington) Brown (Jerry). She was a graduate of Irmo High School, Class of 1997, as well as the University of South Carolina, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Advertising. Vickie was currently employed with Intermark Management, as the Director of Training and Marketing. In addition to her parents she is survived by her grandmother, Charleen W. Frye and three siblings, Thomas C. Strickland, Lindsay L. Brown and Christopher R. Brown. She is also survived by two very special friends, Tracy R. Brown and Nathan R. Maiwald, as well as, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, February 2, 2013, in Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia SC, 29209, with Minister Spencer Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) on Saturday.
