Obituary of Claude Toulson
COLUMBIA—Claude Skelley Toulson, Sr., Age 75, was born in Warren, GA to the late Marvin and Erma Toulson. He was a loving husband to his wife Margie R. Toulson for 52 years. Claude retired from Coca-Cola after 41 years. He was a Mason and a member of the Lion's Club, where he received the Melvin Jones Fellow Award. Claude was a Deacon at Pineview Baptist Church and a member of the Men's Sunday School Class.
Claude is survived by his loving wife, Margie R. Toulson; son, Claude Toulson, Jr., (Janine); daughter, Carol Estabrooke (Robbie); granddaughter, Sara Walden & fiancé, Chris Schimek; three brothers, Ray Toulson, Sammy Toulson, James Toulson of Mitchell, GA; two sisters, Peggy Jackson of Mitchell, GA and Betty Kitchens of Macon, GA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Marvin & Erma Toulson; brother, William Toulson; and sister, Mary June Richards.
Claude was a man of God that devoted his life to helping family, neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 at Pineview Baptist Church, 3010 Leaphart Road, West Columbia. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.
