Obituary of Lois Jeanne Sibert

COLUMBIA: Graveside services for Lois Jeanne Sibert, 84, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Northeast Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 601 Polo Road, Columbia, SC 29223. Officiating will be the Reverend Dr. George D. Crow, III. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090 or to St. Mary's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 170 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29210. Greenlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mrs. Sibert was born October 27, 1928, in East Cleveland, Ohio and passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Leonidas W. Owens and Florence Owens. Lois was a member of Northeast Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Pine Garden Club. She worked for Lindsey Wire in Cleveland, OH and Canada Dry in Columbia. Mrs. Sibert is survived by her daughter, Susan Taylor of Columbia; son, William Sibert of Irmo; sister, Evelyn Heiss of Orlando, FL; and three grandchildren, Jason Taylor of Columbia, and Jessica and Brittany. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Sibert, her parents, and sister, Mabel Baumann of Painesville, OH.
