Obituary of Jean Langley

LEXINGTON: Funeral service for Jean Shealy Langley, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March, 11, 2013, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Reverend Wayne Smith and Chaplain Toni White. Interment will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Langley, Mark Langley, Matt Owens, Eric Owens, Robert Brazell and Thomas Brazell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelli Trotter and Aleigh Trotter. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Brookland United Methodist Church, 541 Meeting Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Mrs. Langley passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013. Born in Lexington County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harry N. Shealy and Mable Hilton Shealy. She was a member of Brookland United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Sandi Owens (Sam) of Lexington and Becky Trotter (Ray) of Lexington; son, Rick Langley of Lexington; brother, Robert N. Shealy of Columbia; six grandchildren, Ricky and Mark Langley, Kelli and Aleigh Trotter and Matt and Eric Owens; also three great grandchildren, Drew, Zack and Jill Langley.
