Obituary of Iva Campbell

SWANSEA—Funeral services for Iva Vermell Campbell, 74, of Swansea, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Robert G. Ward, Sr. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnathon Brown, Thomas Brown, Dennis King and Cody King. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the funeral home. Mrs. Campbell, beloved wife of 46 years to the late William Franklin Campbell, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy Snelgrove and Iva Merle Kaminer Snelgrove. Surviving are her daughters, Virginia Campbell (Anthony) of Swansea and Abby Ray (Ricky) of Gaston; five grandchildren, Sarah Frances McElveen, Johnathon Loric Brown, Thomas Franklin Brown, Donna Marie King and Stephen Savage Ray; five great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Bachman of Cayce; two brothers, Bobby Snelgrove of Cayce and David Snelgrove of Cayce.
