Obituary of Betty Thompson

GASTON: Funeral service for Betty J. Thompson, 71, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, officiated by Reverend Ron Driggers. Interment will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening in the funeral home. Mrs. Thompson passed away, Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Albert Eugene Feaster and Alice Lee Feaster. Survivors include: her husband of 47 years, Jimmy D. Thompson of Gaston; daughters, Terry Shinn of West Columbia and Anne Cushman of Gaston; sons, Richard Crain (Nancy), Donald Crain and Dwayne Crain all of Gaston and Jerry Thompson (Michelle) of Albany, IN; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers.
