Obituary of Corinne Webb

COLUMBIA—Funeral service for Corinne Ann Webb of Columbia, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Bredholt. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to the Babcock Center, PO Box 4389, West Columbia, SC 29170. Miss Webb passed away on Good Friday, March 29, 2013. Born in Lawrence Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Willie W. Webb and Rose Ann Webb Hooker. A special person, Corinne brightened the lives of all who knew and loved her. She loved travel, sightseeing and family. A valued part of her family was the caregivers of Babcock Center, who provided her with unending love and support. Survived by her step-father, Youvnee Hooker, brother, Wayne Hooker (Charlie); sister, Loree Starling (Jim); nephew, Altie Hooker and cousin, Eva Benigno (Tom). She is predeceased by her parents and a brother, Bob Hooker. The family would like to express a special thank you to all her caregivers at the Babcock Center and to all her roommates for all their love and friendship.
