Obituary of Darlene Cunningham

LEXINGTON— Funeral services for Darlene Darling Cunningham, 57, of Lexington, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Springdale Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. prior to the church. Burial will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington will be assisting the family. Darlene passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Born in Patterson, NJ, she was the daughter of Irene Pate Darling and the late James A. Darling, Jr. Darlene was a loving mother and grandmother. She was married to William F. Cunningham for 32 years. She is survived by her beloved son, Charles W. Buckner, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Tonya, and precious granddaughter, Brittany Buckner; mother, Irene Darling; sister, Deborah Jackson; brother, James A. Darling III and his wife, Darlene, two nieces and one nephew. Darlene was preceded in death by her father and two aunts, Lilian Gunter and Louise Webb.
