Obituary of Mary Branham

COLUMBIA: Graveside service for Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Branham, 94, of Columbia, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend John Jordan. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. prior to the service at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Mrs. Branham, widow of Bennie Woodrow Branham, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. Born in Hickory Grove, SC, she was a daughter of the late Cletus Starnes and Mable Wilson Starnes. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who enjoyed her family. Survivors include: daughters, Ann Sisk of Lexington and Joyce Woods of Columbia; sons, Bennie W. Branham, Jr. of Hilton Head, SC and Larry L. Branham of Blythewood; grandchildren, Mike Sisk and David Sisk both of Lexington, Trey Woods of Columbia, Denise Myers of Saluda, Benjamin Branham of Lexington and Tanya A. Branham of Blythewood; great grandchildren, Michael J. Sisk, Connor Sisk, Griffin Sisk, Sam Myers, Patricia Myers, Chase Woods and Liam Branham. Mrs. Branham was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bennie Woodrow Branham; grandchild, Susan Branham; great grandchild, Matthew Lee Sisk; two brothers and one sister.
