Missed the party, but we were helping Krista. We know God has you secure in Heaven with Granny. We look forward to following in your footsteps, living out our faith as long as God leaves us on this earth; all for His glory! You were the best Father-in-LOVE and Big Daddy!

Sorry I couldn't join your homecoming celebration, but I was home, recovering, snuggled in my GAMECOCK snuggie! Ha! I'd have worn a gamecock on my face if I could have made it. I'm sure you're laughing from Heaven right now. I loved making you grunt! Love ya, Big Daddy!

Marion, Vicki and Todd, I had the honor of working with your Dad at Bagnals for 27 years from 1972 to 1999. What a joy to be associated with such a wonderful gentleman. I will forever remember his ribbing because I gratuated from USC. He was so proud of each of you and he often talked about your accomplishments. I know you will miss him terribly but think of all the wonderful memories that no one can take away. I will be praying for you during this very difficult time of adjustment. God Bless

What a STUD! MB taught me, not just about Scouting, but about life, growing-up, being a man, and most importantly was a walking example of what a Christian is! I will miss him as a fellow neighbor in Springdale and Rocky Bottom will never be the same. His legacy lives on in the many, many men he guided through the Scouting program.

I knew Mr. Red thru my I laws,Mitch&Jimmie Shaw and had the privledge of getting to spend quite a few days with him and Mrs. Vera when they would come to North Augusta to visit. I have never met two nicer people in my life and they both were so accepting of me, just as if I were part of the family. I will always treasure those visits in my heart. I am truly sorry for your loss , but at the same time I am happy that He and Mrs. Vera are reunited and in heaven together. Cecil& I will keep you in our prayers as you mourn your Dad.
