Obituary of Lois Zinna

LEXINGTON—Funeral service for Lois E. Zinna, 85, of Lexington, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10-12 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Mrs. Zinna, beloved wife of the late Michael F. Zinna, Sr., passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Born in Augusta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Emmett Garner and Emmie Jones Garner. A resident here since 1977, formerly of Port Jefferson, NY and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughters, Maria Bertsch (Jack M.) of Lexington and Susan Hamm (Kelley) of Port Jefferson, NY; son, Robert Zinna of Lexington; grandchildren, Melissa Chappell, Meghan Kazanecki, Marcia Boone, Michael T. Zinna, Jessica Zinna, Robert Zinna, Jr., Nick Zinna, Joseph Zinna; three great-grandchildren, Savannah Chappell, Vance Zinna and Colin Kazanecki; daughter-in-law, Linda Zinna of West Columbia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael F. Zinna, Sr. and son, Michael F. Zinna, Jr.
