Obituary of Ruth N Brazell

A graveside service celebrating the life of Ruth N. Brazell, 92, of Springdale will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Reverend Tommy McGill officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Mrs. Brazell departed this earthly life on Saturday, April 13, 2013. She was born in Prosperity, SC to the late F. Henry Neeley and Nezzie Craft Neeley. Mrs. Brazell was a member of Springdale Baptist Church for the last 50 years and retired from the former Monroe Calculators, Litton Industries. Mrs. Brazell enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking, and she was known for her delicious sweet potato yeast rolls and coconut cake. Mrs. Brazell was predeceased by her husband, Owens Brazell. Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are her daughter, Annette M. Smith (Al) of Springdale, SC; her sons, David R. Brazell (Gloria) of Santee, SC and Owens Stanley Brazell (Lennie) of Kingstree, SC; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
