Obituary of David Perry

Graveside service for David O'Neal Perry, Sr., 64, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, in Celestial Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Mark Bredholt. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the graveside. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family. Mr. Perry passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Maxine Bolton Perry and the late Raymond Perry. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He retired as a lieutenant from the Richland County Sheriff's Department after 25 years of service. Survivors include: his mother, Maxine B. Perry of West Columbia; sister, Jan P. Fowler of West Columbia; nieces, Amy Balestrero and Jennifer Fowler; and three great nephews.
