Obituary of Ida Hutto

WEST COLUMBIA: Memorial service for Ida Estelle Hutto, 62, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Reverend Dr. Mark Bredholt. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association of SC, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Ms. Hutto passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ben and Jessie Moore. She was a loving sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include: sisters, Betty Dinkins, Reba McCaw (Clayton) and Ethel Pierce; brothers, Henry "Buddy" Reynolds (Louise) and Floyd Moore all of West Columbia; her devoted friend of 22 years, Frankie Shuler of Gaston; also a number of nieces and nephews. Ms. Hutto was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carrie Stack and a brother, Thomas "Sonny" Reynolds.
