Dear Ryan Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the passing of your mother!
She was a warm and gracious woman. She always made me feel welcome in her homes by time- night of day! I was always offered an after school snack. If I stayed too late, she would set a place at the Ryan dinner table and include me as one of the family. She would offer rides to or from after-school events.
I spent many times in the Ryan den watching sports events. Mrs.Ryan always had snacks or soft drinks for those gathered there. I felt like one of the family during those years at the Columbia Ave. Ryan home.
Mrs. Ryan will be missed by many that loved her. She is happy to be welcomed into God's home with his comforting arms wrapped around her. Rest in peace! You made a difference in my life and the lives of many others!

I have many happy memories of time spent in the Ryan house and backyard. Living across the street made it easy to slip over to play - Red Rover, Hula Hoop contests, climbing the tree in your backyard, and creating plays to share with the neighborhood. I know there were many summer days when I spent more time at the Ryan's than I did at home. Mrs Ryan always welcomed us - it seemed the more, the merrier. Another early memory of Mrs. Ryan is from about age 4. My play clothes were often my brothers' hand-me-downs and one day my mother dressed me in a polo shirt with a zipper at the neck. She caught my neck in the zipper and couldn't get it back up or down. In a panic, she called Mrs. Ryan and she managed to free me. We were truly blessed to have your family as neighbors. My sympathy to you at the loss of your mother. What a great lady!
