Obituary of Irene A. Bundrick

Funeral Service for Irene A. Bundrick, 89, of West Columbia, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Harman and Russell Laird. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Green Hill Baptist Church Shut-In Ministry, PO Box 6276, West Columbia, SC 29171. Mrs. Bundrick, beloved wife of the late James Murray Bundrick, Sr., passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013. Born in Wagener, she was the daughter of the late George Able and Ida Mae Spradley Able. She was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church of West Columbia. Surviving are her sons, James M. Bundrick, Jr. of Sandy Run and Michael B. Bundrick (Margie) of Lexington; grandchildren, James "Bo" Bundrick (Cristie) of Winchester, VA, Brannon Wadford of West Columbia, Chad Bundrick (Laura) Greenwood and Dustin Bundrick (Lauren) of Lexington; great grandchildren, Katie and Jacob Bundrick of VA and Reese, Kate and Ben Bundrick of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Fran B. Wadford, sister, Pearl Fulmer and brother, George William Able. The family would like to thank the Agape Hospice House for their loving care and Mr. Russell Laird for his Shut-in Ministry.
