Obituary of Julia Anne Steen Nash

CHARLOTTE: Funeral service for Julia Anne Steen Nash, 88, formerly of Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Shandon Presbyterian Church, officiated by Reverend Jill Duffield. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at Shandon Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Greenlawn Funeral Home will be assisting the family. Mrs. Nash passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. Born in Raleigh, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Charles Steen and Anne Frezil Houser. She was a longtime member of Shandon Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her daughter, Anne F. Nash and husband Dan Spicer of Charlotte, NC; sister, Dot Norton and husband (Charles) of Pendleton, SC; brother, Joseph C. Steen and wife, Sally R. Steen of Georgetown, SC; grandson, Andy Spicer and wife, Leanne; and great grandson, Daniel Spicer.
