Obituary of Dorothy Mae Millaudon

WHITE ROCK—Funeral services for Dorothy Mae "Dot" Millaudon, 88, of White Rock, will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Fellowship Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Don Bell. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Millaudon was beloved wife of 36 years to the late Donald R. Millaudon, Sr. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Allen Martin and Addie Mae Carman Martin. Dot was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Dot also loved tending her flowers. A faithful Christian, Dot loved the Lord and attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Donald R. Millaudon, Jr. (Glenda) and Allen D. Millaudon (Margie) and; grandchildren, Travis Millaudon, Marlena Turner (Stanley), Mindy Bires (Austin) and Lisa "Danielle" Millaudon; great-grandchildren, Bradley Turner, Landon Turner, Halee Bires and Parker Bires; two nieces, Patricia Brite and Donna Martin and three nephews, Nick Martin, David Martin and Eddie Cooper. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse Martin and Albert "Lee" Martin. The family would like to thank the staff of the Lowman Home and Lutheran Hospice for their loving care over the past three years.
