Obituary of Marvin Wade Combs

A memorial service celebrating the life of Marvin Wade Combs, 87, Columbia will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Terry Cagle officiating. Mr. Combs departed this earthly life on Sunday, May 19, 2013. He was born in Perry, Oklahoma to the late Uel W. Combs and Sara Munger Combs. Mr. Combs was a veteran of the United States Navy and he retired from H.U.D. Mr. Combs was predeceased by his wife, Virginia G. Combs; a step-son, George Kenneth Madden; and three siblings. Surviving are his step-son, Charles B. Madden; two grandchildren, Griffeth Madden and C. Tyler Madden; a brother, Leon Combs; a sister, Sheila Archuleta; a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
