Obituary of Brian Morgan Owen

PROSPERITY-Funeral services for Brian Morgan Owen, 49, of Prosperity, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Bethel United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Kathryn Scarborough. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 1817 Gadsden Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Brian passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Ola Mae Goff Owen and Atwood Owen. He was a father, grandfather and brother whose passion was truck driving. Surviving are his sons, Brandon, Brian Jr., Dustin, Jarrett and their spouses; brothers and sisters, Brent, Elisabeth, Katherine, John and their spouses; four grandchildren, Sabrina, Brianna, Lily, Atwood and a large extended family.
