Obituary of Michie T. Amos

A visitation celebrating the life of Michie T. Amos, 80, of Columbia will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home with a private burial to follow on Tuesday in Greenlawn Memorial Park. On-line condolences may be sent to www.greenlawn-columbia.com. Mrs. Amos departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the home of her daughter and caregiver, Debbie. She was born in Fukuoka, Japan to the late Yosimatu and Sono Tazuhara. Mrs. Amos was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Mrs. Amos was predeceased by her 1st husband, MSgt. (Ret.) Jack T. Cone; her son Harry W. Cone; her 2nd husband, Fred E. Amos; and her two siblings. Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are her daughters Debbie C. Lever (Mark) and Michie F. Cone; her son, Jacen W. Cone; two grandchildren, Krista L. Reep (Donovan) and Olivia J. Cone; two brothers, Chikara and Masaru Tazuhara; many nieces, nephews, a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Special appreciation is extended to Kim Sussewell of Regency Hospice for her compassion and support during the brief illness and passing of our loved one.
