Obituary of William Lindsay Henderson

A funeral service for William "Lynn" Lindsay Henderson, Jr., 58, of Columbia will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Terry Cagle officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Henderson affectionately called "Lynn" by his family and friends departed this earthly life on Friday, July 26, 2013. He was born in Columbia, SC to William Lindsay Henderson, Sr. and Julia Drawdy Henderson. "Lynn" retired from Bellsouth Telephone Company and he was also an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Henderson was predeceased by his father; and his sister, Christine Henderson Wilson. Surviving are his loving mother, Julia Drawdy Henderson; his sister, Jackie Stamos; nephews, Peter Stamos, Billy Stamos(Jennifer), and James Stamos; great-nephews, James and Joshua Benton; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
