Obituary of Hildegard Gertrude Wiedermann Matheson

Hildegard Gertrude (Wiedermann) Matheson, 85, of Hopkins, entered into rest August 8, 2013 at her residence. Born September 15, 1927 in Germany, she was a daughter of the late Adolf and Augusta Paulina (Scheer) Wiedermann. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Matheson, as well as a daughter, Christina Walsh. She is survived by two daughters, Inez Lovett and Rita M. Pike; two sons, Gordon W. Matheson and Horst Wiedermann; sisters, Sigred Kaldenback ,Tradolle and Ursula Wiedermann; brother, Werner Wiedermann; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members as well as friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the funeral home.
