Obituary of V. James Naso

WEST COLUMBIA¬-Funeral services for V. James Naso, age 89, of West Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service in the chapel. Mr. Naso, loving husband of the late Nancy Naso, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Mary SanGeorge Naso. He honored his country by serving in the Army during WWII. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his daughter, Linda Reeb (Ralph) of Camden, DE; sons, Joe Naso (Kathy) and Dan Naso (Sue) all of Irmo; sister, Marie Pecinda of Lakewood, NJ; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tony Naso and great-grandson, Henry Reeb. Overflowing with thankfulness, so thankful that dad is with his Lord and Savior together forever with mom!
