Obituary of Junior Emmett Forren

Junior Emmett Forren, 83, of Hopkins, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Greenlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family. Born in Fayetteville, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Oscar Emmett and Glenna Virginia Hudrell Forren. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who enjoyed life. He was a proud veteran of both the US Army and US Navy. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in passing by his sister, Ruth Wickline, daughter, Cynthia Hall, and son, Michael Forren. He is survived by his children, Serelda Lanier of Raleigh, NC, Kenneth A. Forren (Connie) of Chatham, IL, William G. Forren (Adena) of West Columbia and Carol F. Forren (Don) of Hopkins; sisters, Helen, Shirley, Drema and Vaughna; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
