Obituary of Sandra J. Wilson

COLUMBIA-Funeral services for Sandra J. Wilson, 73, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 at Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Shut in Ministries at Green Hill Baptist Church, P. O. Box 6276, West Columbia, SC 29171 Mrs. Wilson died Friday, August 23, 2013. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Backman A. and Annie Bell Hornsby Jacobs. She was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church and the Gold Band Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Murry G. Wilson of Columbia; daughter, Pamela K. Wilson and husband, Ken Tisdale of Greenville; sons, Murry G. Wilson, Jr. (Cheryl) of Lexington, Martin C. Wilson (Joyce) of Ashville, NC and Daniel W. Wilson of Columbia; one granddaughter, Shelby Wilson; three grandsons, Brandon Wilson, Matt Wilson and Marty Wilson; and sister, Jeanette Williamson of Lugoff. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
