Obituary of Diana Brazell

WEST COLUMBIA—A graveside service for Diana "Susie" Brazell, 62, of West Columbia, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013 in Southland Memorial Gardens with Rev. Harry Miller officiating. The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Memorials may be made to SCOA- Care Foundation, PO Box 2046, Attn: Meredith Anderson, West Columbia, SC 29171. Mrs. Brazell passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013. Born in Bakersville, CA, she was a daughter of the late Ruby Jones Sketo. She worked as a private duty nurse must of her life. Surviving are her daughter, Wendy K. Reynolds of Lexington; grandson, Cash Derrick Sharpe; boyfriend of 9 years, DeFay D. Phillips, Sr. of West Columbia; step-son, Allen Walker of Blythewood; sisters, Joyce Fleming of Columbia and Debra Warton of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Marie Reynolds.
