Obituary of Mary Reedy Pippin

CAYCE—Chapel service for Mary Reedy Pippin, 81, of Cayce will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Grace Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Rusty Rabon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Pippin passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Palmetto Health Baptist. Born in Abingdon, VA, she was a daughter of the late John Henry Reedy and Maxie Cornelia Hawkins. Mrs. Pippin was a longtime member of Grace Chapel. She had worked for many years with Lexington School District 2. Survivors include, daughter, Susie Pippin of the home; brothers, Harry Reddy (Ruth) and David Reedy; grandchildren, Heather Garner (Steven), Mitchell Campbell (Hong), Ricky Jacob (Joy) and Diane Sauro (Derek); great-grandchildren: Coleman & Campbell Garner; Sounita, Sandrie and Weston Campbell; Aiden and Evan Jacob; Cody, Alex and Ethan Sauro. Special daughters: Gwen Campbell (James) and Kathy Jacob (Eddie). She was preceded in death by her late husband of 60 years, James Robert Pippin and two children, Jim and Cathy Pippin.
