Obituary of Patricia McDonald

LEXINGTON—A memorial service for Patricia "Pat" McDonald, 73, of Lexington, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church, 501 Church St., West Columbia, SC 29172. Rev. Gene Henderson will officiate. Pat, beloved wife of Alvin "Al" McDonald, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. Born in Lebanon, PA, she was a daughter of the late Russell Mann and Anna Wingert Mann. Pat had retired from Lexington District One. She taught math at Pelion High School prior to retirement. She was a member of Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church. Pat enjoyed reading, traveling, socializing with friends and her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband of 51 years, are sons, David L. McDonald of Greenville and Roy L. McDonald of Lexington; grandchildren, Leanna, Sierra, Olivia and Isabella McDonald; a nephew, Jimmy Currie and a niece, Donna Fidler. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Currie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church "Foreign Missions", 501 Church Street, West Columbia, SC 29172, or the charity of one's choice.
