Obituary of Clara Beth Shull

FLAT ROCK, NC formerly of West Columbia—A graveside service for Clara Beth Shull, 91, of Flat Rock, NC, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery in West Columbia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elizabeth Hospice House, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731. Mrs. Shull, beloved wife of the late Harris Franklin Shull, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Born in Hillsdale, IN, she was a daughter of the late Mattie Donovan and Beauford Shewmaker. She moved to Brevard, NC for health reasons, residing at College Walk Retirement Center until her health declined and she moved to Elizabeth Hospice House in Flat Rock, NC where she passed. She worked as a Nursing Assistant for many years. She is survived by her son, Jerry Shull, Sr. and wife, Amy of Lake Toxaway, NC; grandsons, Jerry, Shull, Jr., and wife, Kelly of Lamar, Scott and wife, Danielle of Pelion; great-grandson, James Randell of Lamar. She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin Shull and son, H.F. Shull.
