Obituary of Mickie D. Long

GASTON—Funeral services for Mickie D. Long, 68, of Gaston, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Southland Mausoleum Chapel. Rev. Hann will officiate. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. Mrs. Long, beloved wife of Terry Long, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, born in Mattoon, IL; she was a daughter of Charley Fleenor and Audrey Maxine Bock Fleenor. She loved animals, fishing and enjoyed NASCAR Races. Surviving are her husband; sons, Terry Goodwin and Jeremy Beachy; grandson, Justin Lee Goodwin (Sabrina). She was preceded in death by her parents; aunt Frances Coble and a daughter, Lora Beachy.
