Uncle Lonnie, I will always remember my younger days around each other. Always joking, kidding and laughing just like a McCall always did. R.I.P. with all of our other loved ones who are now with you and our Father of life. I look forward to seeing all of you again. I Love You. Traci

To Lonnie J.
You were a very good brother-in law and very sweet to Angelia! You were always there for she and I! You taught me how to start my car with a screwdriver and drove both of us to our job in Elgin! Where you got the boss job and I got the assembly line!
But over the years we went our separate ways, but never forgetting you! We still loved you.
Your Day is done! Tomorrow is ours to wait!
Thinking of you!
Juanita

"It is important to have a strong father figure or role model early in life to mold your life course and direction."
Thank you, Lonnie, for being that for me. Although there was only a five-year difference in our ages, you were that role model that formed a great deal of my thoughts on life. The most profound thing you ever said to me? All these years later, I remember it clearly: "Anybody can be a nobody but it takes some body to be a somebody."
Special memories, every one, with you.
