Obituary of Helen Leoma Teague

COLUMBIA-A graveside service celebrating the life of Helen Leoma Teague, 84, of Columbia will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mark Bredholt officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Greenlawn Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be sent to www.Greenlawn-Columbia.com. Mrs. Teague departed this earthly life on Thursday, October 10, 2013. She was born in Gastonia, NC to the late William Jones and Mollie Solesbee Jones. Mrs. Teague was predeceased by her husband, Sheridan W. Teague; her grandmother, Margaret Jones who raised her from birth; a brother, Jack Jones; and her twin sister, Ellen whom died at birth. Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are her daughters, Tara Teague and Tamira Harwell; two grandchildren, Alex Harwell and Brandie Harwell; four sisters, Betty Dockery, Joyce Dalrymple, Annie Ruth Rayne, and Melba Morrow; two brothers, William Jones and Harry Jones; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Special appreciation is extended to Gloria Jackson and Mary Frost for their excellent care of Helen while she was still able stay at home and to the Life Care Center for their care and support during her illness.
