Obituary of Herman Grange Taylor

LEESVILLE-Memorial service for Herman Grange Taylor, 87, of Leesville, will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 305 Stoneridge Drive, Suite B, Columbia, SC. 29210. Mr. Taylor, beloved husband of Nadine L. Taylor, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013. Born in Swansea, SC, he was a son of the late John Wesley and Rosa Ellen Pound Taylor. He attended Brookland-Cayce High School. He was retired from Seaboard-Coastline Railroad after 20 years of service; prior to this he was employed with Mount Vernon Mills. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. Surviving in addition to his wife, Nadine Lancaster Taylor of Leesville; are his daughter, Linda Jean Taylor Merrick (Richard); grandson, Ryon Merrick and granddaughter, Taylor C. Merrick; and two sisters, Una Hayes and Dorothy Locke.
