Obituary of Terry Andrews Simontis

WEST COLUMBIA—A memorial service for Terry Andrews Simontis, 56, of West Columbia, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Her brother, Rev. Chet Andrews will officiate. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Terry, beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Maude Lee Bush Andrews and the late Samuel Homer Andrews. She attended The Harvest and was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus and had a passion for animals and children. She was a very caring and compassionate mother. Surviving are her mother, Maude Lee Andrews of West Columbia; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Epps of Columbia; brother, Rev. Chet Andrews (Hope) of Greer; sisters, Donna Andrews Edge (Bruce) of West Columbia and Cindy Andrews Hall of Lexington. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Michael Vining and his family, the Vining family, and a large and loving extended family.
