My husband and I have just lost our best friend - our friend of 42 years. As I type this, tears are running down my face, for we have lost one of the best men we have known. Harold was more than a friend to us, and we to him. He was more like a brother, and years ago, more like a father. He taught us things we didn't know how to do (especially Gordon). We did everything we could for him, but should have done more. After his wife, Jean, passed away, we took him out to eat, feed him at our home, took him places he had never been before. He wanted to see the new Farmers Market - he wanted to go to our daughter, Angie's house again. Wherever or whenever he wanted to go, if we could, we took him - to the doctor, to the dentist, etc. And you know, we didn't mind doing it, because we loved him. He told one of our neighbors "we had adopted him". As we look out the back of our home and into his, we will remember James Harold Keith and what he meant to us, our daughter and our granddaughter..
God speed Hard Head - until we meet again!!! We will always love you.
Sara and Gordon Harwell
