Obituary of Leslie McVeigh Echols

COLUMBIA-A graveside service for Leslie "Jack" McVeigh Echols, Jr., 84, of Columbia will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 in Greenlawn Memorial Park. "Jack" as he was affectionately called by friends passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. He was born in Clarendon County, SC on February 23, 1929 to the late Leslie McVeigh Echols, Sr. and Suelier Bateman Echols. "Jack" is survived by his many friends and his long-time devoted caregiver, Anne Whitt.
