Obituary of Louise Gaffin Cromer

COLUMBIA-A private burial for Louise Gaffin Cromer will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 in Greenlawn Memorial Park. On-line condolences may be sent to www.Greenlawn-Columbia.com. Mrs. Cromer departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 26, 2013. She was born in Hamlet, NC to the late Herbert L. and Hattie Mae Morgan Gaffin. Mrs. Cromer was a longtime resident of Columbia, SC where she graduated from the University of South Carolina and was a faithful volunteer at the Baptist Hospital for many years. She was also a member of Temple Baptist Church. Mrs. Cromer was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed traveling many places through the years with her husband and children. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray B. Cromer in 2010. Surviving are her daughters, Kathryn (John) Proach of Princeton, NJ and Bonnie (Warren) Hix of Columbia, SC.
