I was a regular customer of Mr. Kenny when I lived in Columbia. He knew me when I was working at Columbia Fire Dept. He was a kind man and he loved life and work. I used to ask him about retiring and he said he loved to work that's what kept him going. He knew my late father George Mavroftas at the Dairy-O restaurant Rosewood shopping center. Dad always bought from Kenny's. From car mars to car covers. I even bought my first Corvette Bra which was big in the 80s. He was a great person to know. Stan Mavroftas

Kenneth L. Hooks Founder and Owner of Kenny`s Auto Supply
To the Hooks Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you. Words, however kind cannot mend your heartache, but it is said that "Love leaves a memory no one can steel." Kenny was a kind man and always willing to help a customer. I visited his Auto Store in five points many times and always found Mr. Kenny helpful with skilled answers to my problems. He was an honest and down to earth person. Anyone who met Mr. Kenny would like him and everyone bragged about his character and abilities. . He will be missed by all of Columbia.
Dr. Don M. Jordan
