Obituary of John Joseph Davis

Blythewood—Funeral services for John "Jack" Joseph Davis, Jr., 65, of Blythewood, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3600 Devine Street in Columbia. The Reverend Msgr. Richard D. Harris will officiate. Burial will be held at 12 noon in Ft. Jackson National Cemetery with military honors. The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Mr. Davis, beloved husband of Irma Lopez Davis, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Born in Troy, New York, he was a son of the late John Joseph Davis, Sr., and Mildred Joan Daudelin Davis. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus. He proudly served his country retiring from the United States Air Force as a CMSGT. Surviving in addition to his adoring wife of 44 years, Irma Davis; devoted daughter, Lisa Marie Biscailuz and husband Eugene of Tehachapi, California; devoted son, Joseph Randolph "Randy" Davis and fiancée, Tara Billings; loving grandchildren, Joseph Randolph Davis, Jr., Stephen Tyler Davis, Abbey Reva Marie Davis, Ashley Marie Biscailuz and Brian Gene Biscailuz; sister, Patricia Boisjoli and husband, Ronald of Schenectady, NY and Mary Jo Bush and husband, Ernest of Troy, NY; brothers, Robert Davis and wife, Carol Jo of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Michael Davis and wife, Tracey of Las Vegas, Nevada; many loving brothers and sisters-in-law; family pets, Sleepy and Molly. Those who preceded him in death, besides his late parents were his in-laws, Anastacio Lopez, Maria and Antonia Ramirez.
