Obituary of James Davis McEaddy

James Davis McEaddy, Jr., 85, of Columbia, died peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Palmetto Health Hospice. Mr. McEaddy was a veteran, having served his country in Korea and Vietnam. Mr. McEaddy is survived by his children, Greg McEaddy and Jan (Sam) Guerry; brother, Hunter (Kitty) McEaddy; grandchildren, Jennifer (Paul) Broome and Christopher Guerry; great grandchildren, Kaitlin and Carleigh Broome as well as a nephew and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Margaret Turner, his first wife, Anne Ralston, and second wife, Dorothy McEaddy. Services will be private and held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home.
